Spend the day with Karate Olympian Sakura Kokumai on Sunday, February 1st 2026 at the Social Fabric Hub.  Co-presented by Colorado Budokan and Little Well Studio with educational experiences for both karate-ka and non-practicing community members.  Participants may elect to attend all events or just a portion.

10am-Noon KATA SEMINAR taught by SAKURA KOKUMAI

Open to karate-ka of all styles.  Seminar registration automatically enters you into a special raffle that will be drawn at the Friendship Cup on February 15, 2026 at Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO.  Raffle winner must be in attendance at the Friendship Cup to claim their prize.  Prize includes, but is not limited to one SKAnello Travel Gi Bag and a signed card by the Olympian. $85

Noon-1pm OBENTO LUNCH & REFRESHMENTS

Sakura will have merch available to purchase on site during this time. This is a great opportunity for an autograph and to mingle with Sakura. An obento lunch is available for reservation for $15.  Options are: vegetarian, chicken and beef.

1-2pm COMMUNITY TALK and Q&A

Open to everyone! Facilitated by Little Well Studio, get to know Sakura and ask her what has driven her to become Olympian she is today.  This event is free to attend, but donations are very much appreciated.
